About Me
Firstly my actual name is David Frost but as there was another David Frost in the entertainment business I had to adopt a different stage name. Most of my early work is listed under the name David Frost. I chose the surname Norfolk to reflect my roots as I was born and still live in the County of Norfolk, England. I am married with children.
My previous job was as a Fire Brigade Station Commander having been in the Service for 29 years. As I always enjoyed dealing with the media, it was a natural progression to enter the entertainment business as an actor and model. I am disciplined, honest, punctual, flexible, positive and reliable.
Since July 2008 I have acted in over 70 feature films, mostly as a supporting artiste but also leading and featured roles in a few. I have also acted in a number of student short films. Over 40 TV parts encompass drama and comedy roles on all the main channels. I have also done several modelling jobs, TV commercials, other acting roles and have been a guest many times on Radio Norfolk. I was the referee in a bare knuckle fight video which backs a track by the Rifles called The General and did a role play as Darth Maul in a dancing theatrical production at the Theatre Royal, Norwich in a show called Making It. My stage experience is limited although I had a starring role in the musical production called The Legend of L'Inconnue as the narrator Superintendant Dr Harry Battley, Asmund Laerdal and two other roles. Performances took place in Stavanger in Norway, The Palais De Congres in Paris and The Regency College Theatre in London as well as a number of theatres in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Another production in which I had a leading role is Margery Kempe. The Wife Lynn's Tale by Gareth Calway. I played the role Of John Brunham , Margery's father. It was performed in Lynn Minster as part of the King's Lynn Festival on 24th July 2015 and again in another venue in 2016.
In addition to this I am currently writing a book called Fishing On The Moon which is nothing to do with fishing or the Moon but charts the new chapter in my life beginning with the lead up to my retirement. As you are reading this website, there is a good chance that you have already been mentioned in my book.
I have a car and a full unblemished licence. As a result of my previous job I am used to dealing with extraordinary situations. I am keen to progress in the acting business and take on more challenging roles. As I am retired I am available at most times.
